Excellent, well done scholarly article.
It exposes the chicanery of the progressive judges.
Essentially, they ruled "we don't like it, so you cannot have it".
What evil, power-mad, people.

Excellent, well done scholarly article. Someone posted that here a long time ago when I was early in my FR education on politics. It really opened my eyes to the shenanigans of leftist judges. Some time around then I read Unintended Consequences. My casual interest in 2A was never casual again.

I would LOVE to alter a shotgun to my specs. Unfortunately, it is dangerously illegal. My wife is 4’ 11” and handling this purely defensive weapon for the home is a bear.

Yes. Because the American people would not sanction the destruction of Taliban supporting villages.?????????????
The military and upper echelons in civilian government chose the manner of waging a war. From illegal command instead of a declaration, to targets, methods, ROE, and scope.
The work boots and sneaker clad people once again bowed to the Shiny Shoes.

I had read some of those decisions, and Miller.
It convinced me the judges were unprincipled, evil people.
I saw where the election of Progressives placed us on this path.

Progressive political ideology.
The politicians "know" what is best. It includes remaking the world the way they want it to be.
To: marktwain
It convinced me the judges were unprincipled, evil people. Hard not to conclude that.

Some time around then I read Unintended Consequences. The truth about the Miller decision is much worse than depicted in Unintended Consequences.
To: marktwain
It really is.
Thanks for all your posts here. Appreciate your work.
