Mostly dry eyed the entire time with no visible sign of undue stress. I know people show grief differently but just AS a casual observer I don’t see much of it from her.

A local outdoor sporting goods store closed here in Jacksonville, FL and the owner sold the building for $3 million. It was bought by some corporate dopers from Pennsylvania who will put a weed “dispensary” right across the street from a Costco and amongst the biggest shopping area here.
I live about 6 miles from Prichard. Any little white boy hanging out in Prichard has a life expectancy of about 15 minutes. A little white boy dealing drugs in Prichard has a life expectancy of about 5 minutes. He made a very, very bad decision. Prichard is 90% black. The 7% of whites are likely those who live on the outskirts of town in their own little enclaves. Normal white people do not hang out in Prichard.
Problem is,they are selling a respite from the harsh world and their own personal harsh world. And the baggage from the shortlived respite is heavy. With or without it, these users won’t function very well in the long run.
We are seeing the results of defacto legal opiate, psychotropic, and marijuana use with all the deaths and problems from overdosing, homelessness, psychotic behaviours, and traffic accidents.

They should consider taking the wheels off the jail and putting it on a permanent foundation. Would make it a lot easier for criminals to find the jail and turn themselves in...
If this woman truly cared for her son, she would have warned him twice and then turned him in to the police. His life in jail would have been hard, but it would have been life, not death.
