"Critical Race Theory is the far-left claim that all White people are automatically racist, and that the United States is an inherently racist nation from its very founding. As such, the theory has attempted to rewrite history by tearing down the accomplishments of the Founding Fathers and other White historical figures, while artificially boosting the role played by African-Americans in the birth of America. Schools that promote the theory have actively encouraged anti-American sentiment, and have also gone out of their way to make White children feel ashamed of their heritage, as well as guilty over past racial injustices for which they were not responsible."
