Thanks. I think that most FReepers that started in the 90’s with the Lewinski crimes have indeed just gotten tired of modern media - and the NFL is certainly very media savvy.
Does the NFL resemble its moniker “National Felon League”? Most days.
Are there a lot of good and decent members of the NFL and its staffs? Probably.
Our entire society has become much more secular, and American sports has contributed to it. How many here would have been shocked in your youth if the pastor wheeled a tube TV into the church for Super Bowl Sunday?
I would have running away before the lightening strikes hit. Of course my pastor lived through a church split when they voted in indoor plumbing in a church near Ft Worth ...
