I heard dozens of his comments at least.

Guardian article? I hardly think Stanford University Center for International Security and Cooperation is a Guardian article.
I do not know why anyone wastes a minute of time on these deliberate liars. There is no controversy about the Nazism in Ukraine. It is a well established fact accepted by any objective knowledgeable person including the United States Congress until it became useful for them to “memory hole” it in order to attempt to preserve our “hegemony” AT ALL COSTS. Nothing has been too low for this desperate effort.
I’ve posted a video clip of a TV news program in Ukraine from 2015 multiple times where the person being interviewed calmly explains that there are 4 million “useless” people in the Donbass sitting on valuable reserves and he is sorry to have to say this but one and one half million of them will need to be exterminated.
I’ve watched the clip multiple times focusing on the woman’s face who was doing the interviewing. Her expression never changes. She displays no shock; no disgust.
I have also posted several times about the French medic who went to Ukraine to help the Ukrainians...he was strictly pro Ukraine. He watched the Ukrainian troops deliberately commit endless war crimes (pictures of which I have also posted multiple times.) They would take 3 or 4 Russian tied up prisoners out of a van and ask each one if they were an officer. If they said no the Nazi Ukrainian soldiers would shoot them in the knee delighted and laughing the whole time. If they said yes they would shoot them in the head. The medic risked his own safety and went to the media and the French government. Neither one of them would touch it because this wasn’t the narrative France (and the rest of the West) were pushing.
It will be to our endless shame in history that this is who we used to “protect democracy” in our evil proxy war to take out Russia/Putin.
"I'm a Nazi, I'm a Nazi. I won't elaborate whether I'm a nationalist,
a patriot or imperialist. I say directly:
I'm a Nazi. I can raise my hand in Nazi salute"
Said in interviews to Provsvirnin, Sputnik and Pogrom).
He first gained a public profile in 2011 after killing a puppy, cutting of its head, and then eating it -
and then uploading the video to the internet.
By 2014, he was appearing in Russian TV broadcasts, where he boasted of collecting "trophies" which turned
out to be, amongst other things, ears cut from people he'd tortured or killed.
People are free to go down the rabbit hole of assuming that all Neo-Nazis are evil scum, irrespective of how they identify
from a nationalist/patriot/imperialist perspective, or you can take the view that actions speak louder than words.
There may well be flag-waving nazis in Ukraine who didn't eat puppies, don't torture civilians, don't take trophies, etc.
Does that mean they're fighting for the right cause, on the right side of a war? Not necessarily.
