It reminds me of the video from a few months ago where the Ukrops were shooting captured Russian soldiers who were cuffed and lying on the ground. Just as appalling. War is hell and sh!t happens. That’s why Zelenskyy needs to get back to the negotiating table to stop the slaughter.

I agree completely. LeMay was a hardcore, no-nonsense warrior. Just what we needed at the time. Such warriors are great in that role, but they are ONLY great in that role.

The Senate just voted a non-binding resolution, calling on the Secretary of State to use his authority to designate Russia as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. It is not law, just strong encouragement and support (100-0). The House is supposed to be taking up something similar, but a bit more strongly worded in the coming days, sponsored by Ted Lieu.

While Yahoo News cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video, the footage, which was initially posted on a pro-Russian Telegram page before spreading rapidly on social media, showed what appears to be a Russian soldier or mercenary wearing a distinctive black fringed hat, mutilating a man who appears to be a captured Ukrainian soldier.
The victim in the video wears Ukrainian-style camouflage fatigues and is shown gagged, his hands tied behind his back. He lies helpless on the floor as the man in a Russian uniform, which features a “Z” patch, uses a box cutter to cut off his clothes and then appears to castrate him while shouting degrading insults in Russian. At least two other men who appear to be Russian soldiers can be seen in the video.
While it is unclear when the video was filmed, what appears to be the same man wearing the black fringed hat also appeared in a June broadcast by the Russian state-backed media outlet RT. In that clip, the apparent soldier can be seen carrying a Dragunov sniper rifle as he walks around the Azot chemical plant in the city of Severodonetsk after the Ukrainian withdrawal from the city. In a post that was published on the RIA Novosti Telegram channel, the Russian news agency identified the man as part of the Chechen “Akhmat” battalion of the Russian army.

Haven’t read that. I’ll check it out. I just recently found out LeMay was in that famous photo of the early B-17s intercepting that Italian ocean liner hundreds of miles off the New York coast as a demonstration.

I actually took the time to reply to everyone on this thread, because I felt it was so important. This video of a guy being castrated, was a video of a guy being castrated, but 4Chan showed it was a propaganda video in the link below. They isolated a still of the castrator’s ear and showed it is grossly different from the Russian soldier with the hat. And the Castrator is wearing western shoes, while the Russian soldier is wearing combat boots. Plus the castrator brought out blue rubber medical gloves like are common in the west, and which Russians probably don’t have readily available to waste on a battlefield castration.
So Ukrainian intel, or maybe even our CIA, somebody on the side we are giving billions of our tax dollars to, saw video of a Russian wearing a distinctive hat, procured the same hat, found a guy who looked like the Russian, and they tied up some poor schmuck in Ukrainian BDUs, and dragged him out to the woods, and castrated him for the video. Probably a captured Russian soldier. And people who are probably running domestic surveillance on fellow Americans in the US are probably here promoting this crap.

Did some looking around. It was more than castration (Internet anarchist sicko definition not withstanding). The war criminal cut off all of his genitals, so the bound victim was probably allowed to eventually bleed out and die. The torturer has been thoroughly identified and doxxed with all personal details. Those details will be repeatedly published around the Net. If he isn’t killed by Ukrainian forces first, he’ll eventually be apprehended along with thousands of other Russian war criminals and accordingly punished.
