Some good practical advice

Well I’m age 65 now. IMO why retire at age 35? 30’s, 40’s are prime working years for growing careers and nest eggs plus having the energy and motivation providing the health is good. Looking back on my career it would be inconceivable to retire that young.

No mention of children; nor does his wife do any beautifying (but good for them on that). Children cost a lot of money. And a million isn’t going to last very long from age 35 onward in the years we are now facing.

I had a friend, a smart and handsome lawyer and top salesman for his big “white-shoe” consulting firm, also with no children, who retired in his late 30s with a couple of $million. This was in the early 1990s. Then came the tech crash. He had to go back to work.
