Oh yeah. The story was about a teenage girl allowing herself to be corrupted by an adult man, but everyone was eventually cool with it because Boy, could they dance!

It maybe, over all of human history, many more women were married by 16 than later.

I was told the average age for first birth in Honduras is 15.

I am not saying it is preferable, just that it was, and in many places in the world (such as most Islamic countries) still is common.

The real message is that pro-choice proponents believe young women are totally vulnerable to the whims of alpha males, and have zero willpower to resist whatever these men want - therefore abortion is a necessary birth control backstop to prevent evil men from ruining their lives.

That’s what the patriarchy was all about - fathers keeping men away from their innocent daughters. But I wish feminists would be honest about their opinion of women. :j

Jennifer Grey's first television job was a commercial at age 19 so it's not like she was living a Hollywood life.

Where were her parents when she was doing drugs and sleeping around at age 16?

A baby would have prevented her career. A nose job ended it. Seems her "career" was very fragile if so many factors could threaten it.
