The problem with farming grain and vegetables in Ukraine is that the the high cost of transportation now leaves the farmer with a meager $10 profit - meaning most will not plant grain in the fall and vegetable farmers will continue to dump any excesses.

So what get shipped this year is all there is, until transportation costs fall back to prewar levels.
