Go to a Walmart.

Put your cellphone in one of their small cheap microwave ovens. Have a friend call your phone number. If the phone in the microwave rings, go on to the next small microwave and try again.

When you find a microwaves that stops your phone from ringing - buy it and leave it in your car to ‘carry’ your phone. As long as you don’t take the phone out of the microwave you can’t be tracked (well, unless you have a ‘smart car’ - my car sends me an email when my tire pressure is low - or if I need an oil change)
