Did you see the story about the 11-foot alligator that killed a man in the Myrtle Beach area? Five days ago.
golfers have balls...
That was sort of my recollection of the data.
They can sprint much faster than you.
Golfers are like that. I spent a winter in Naples Florida in a 2nd-floor condo on a golf course. A couple of women I knew were on the course and did the same thing. I thought they were nuts, but golf is a mental sport, gotta stay focussed.
I’d give them a Social Distance of well beyond 15 ft.

Definitely a safe operating assumption. ;)
Yea, that was odd. Not many details. I suspect maybe he was near a nest. Dunno.
Don’t get me wrong. I maintain a respectful distance from gators.
âRub his belly, Ernie! Rub his belly!â
There’s a myth that gators have poor vision. The one facing you from 15 feet away just might have 20/20. Why temp fate? LOL
heh heh heh heh
Clickbait IMHO
WIFE: I DON'T GIVE A $%@&#^*! IF THERE IS BASKETBALL SIZED HAIL AND FLYING SHEET METAL THAT COULD CUT YOU IN HALF! YOU SAID YOU WOULD GET IT DONE BEFORE OUR COOKOUT TOMORROW AND YOU MADE ME WAIT AND SWEAT. NOW YOU'RE GOING TO WAIT AND SWEAT. I HAVE YOU SIGHTED IN, AND IF I SEE YOUR HANDS COME OFF THAT LAWNMOWER, I'M GONNA PUT A ROUND THROUGH YOUR CROTCH! YOU COULD HAVE HAD IT DONE THREE DAYS AGO, BUT YOUR SOFTBALL GAME AND YOUR DRINKING BUDDIES ARE MORE IMPORTANT!
Yup. He’s thinkin’ “Come on, sweet tornado of death!”
LOL, it is like that old joke: “Why do men die before women?”
Mercifully, I am able to do most of my errands near where I live just south of Orlando. The snowbirds tend to stay at and near the theme parks.
His priorities are clear.
LOL
When will he ever learn?
I noticed that, too. Maybe it's that alligator's "conditioned response" from being around the golf courseâwhen he hears that "Whap!", he lays low and alerts, in case he has to roll out of the way of an incoming ball missile at a gazillion mph!
Sounds like you guys could compete with Australians! Most of them live near the coasts, and they have all kinds of stinging and poisonous plants, critters, insects, etc.
Yep. Friends of mine lived on the Chattahoochie River in Georgia and would have to shoot snakes that would crawl up near their waterskiing launch area. Pine forests across across on the other bank gave the shots a nice echo!
