How many more of these comets are in orbits that we haven’t a clue about ? 16,000 years of them to come.

Thanks, I get it now. Each turn of the screw takes one year.
My time scale was off, I was thinking monthly instead of yearly, and wondering how the moon could make such a difference in perspective.

Closest approach is in two weeks and should be easily seen anywhere with a decently clear southern sky.
