In looking back at that mess, it's mathematically unlikely Bush won by just 537 votes. Equally unlikely is the many elections since that were unbelievably close. Either marketing science has been perfected, or one side is cheating. Demonrats know to keep the cheating to an absolute minimum to reduce the chance of getting caught. In that attempt, they miscalculated.
