No problem, just trying to share with your thinking :)
BTW, just ‘ghost’ the folks that think dialogue includes demeaning sarcastic comments.
A freeper mailed this: “You are fighting a battle of wits with an unarmed person... she is not worth it.”
My Dad used to say it takes two to fight, they can’t argue with themself! LOL
thanks again, i think the reason i wasn’t seeing it is because i found the map i linked over 24 hours ago and haven’t closed my browser or rebootd today so each time i looked was just bringing up a cached jpg.after you mentioned security i tried to go back to the article and couldn’t access the website. I think they under attack but will fix it quickly as they only have 9 days left to finish their fundraising. It may be hosted in russia... the DPA site i linked is decent as he don’t update his map until both sides have confirmed. You’re right, life is easier if you just ignore the folks who are going to bite your head off and be rude. i’ve gotten testy before and haven’t been as polite as before this conflict.i don’t mean to be rude
Lots of Americans have forgotten what real war looks like—we have been blinded by these little wars, police actions etc... Battles with deaths in the dozens and not thousands. Ships full of US Men (and now women) rolling over and going to Davy Jone’s Locker with only a dozen survivors. And, wars where we are no longer safe from enemy attack. A time when every day will be like 9-11. Look at Ukraine, see the horror. This isn’t a TV show. We can’t fix it with another tax or donation. We will learn that there are somethings more important than what pronoun you use.
This sounds like a major sh!t-storm. Can’t be handled as a proxy war, if it degenerates into war, because of Article V. On the one hand, Russia’s already heavily involved in Ukraine, so probably can’t handle another military commitment at this time. On the other, they don’t need to. They have nukes. So do several NATO members, including the US. This is the way the world ends, not with a whimper but a bang.
Crimea declared themselves independent and wanted to join Russia.
From Wikipedia:

President of Russia Vladimir Putin during his conversation with Mustafa Dzhemilev, a former Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, stated that Ukrainian Independence from the Soviet Union was not obtained legitimately,[97][d] while maintaining that the Crimean referendum followed all international-law, the UN charter, and the convention established by Kosovo’s NATO-prodded annexation from Serbia.[99]
In a russian led election. Just like Joe Biden won.
