“I have no sympathy for idiots that volunteer to get their faces ripped off for neocon warmongers, pard.”
So, it is your conclusion that Lithuania is volunteering to get attacked? Like some kind of bait? I just don’t see Lithuania agreeing to play such a role. There is no upside or benefit to Lithuania in that.
I have productive things to do.
Toodles.
No one is going to try and nuke Russia in this case, they would all get on a call and try and de-escalate the situation. I feel that the west isn’t taking the situation seriously and so they constantly try to escalate. These steps make it much more real for everyone. Something that probably should happen sooner or later. I don’t expect this to happen and I don’t desire it but if I were in power this is what I would do in this situation. For the record, if it were fired I would be willing to bet that those who are charged with being prepared for it are not prepared for it and the scramble would be something to behold.
To your point about this being an attack. It absolutely is but is the right response to this time of an attack all out war? Again, this will have something calling for all out war and other calling for calm. When you are one nation (Russia) v a collective (NATO) having that open debate will be advantageous. The pressure to de-escalate, I believe, would be heavy on the west. If you’re going to fight a war, you better be ready to fight to win or you’ll lose.
With a dying, rotting, cancer ridden “President” I put nothing past the Russian warmongers. He could be willing to light the match, he got nothing to lose.
You would call Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, etc losers?
Thanks to PopeJPII, Lady Thatcher, and Ronald Reagan the ussr was defeated and enslaved nations were freed
Putin was the crier
Thanks to Marshall Piłsudski in 1920, Europe didn’t go Bolshevik.
“Are you bored, or something? I have productive things to do.”
I bet.
Very good point.
So. Russia also gave Crimea to Ukraine. But they took it back anyway.
So. I’m using Putin logic. He also took back Crimea after giving it to Ukraine.
“With a dying, rotting, cancer ridden “President” I put nothing past the Russian warmongers. He could be willing to light the match, he got nothing to lose.”
I’d like to think that saner heads would stop him. But, maybe I’m being too optimistic.
Yes, this is very dangerous.
...the neocons have no reverse gear.

Just breathtaking, really.
They also lack all self-awareness, which is a great fit with their inability to ever respond creatively. The same plays, repeated, until they can be predicted by a toddler.
A hive mind, which is exactly what they demand we all join.
It’s almost like the 1300s never happened for you.

Cute!

IMHO, since Russia has ignored its treaty obligations with Ukraine, Georgia, Moldava, Kazahkstan and pre-war POLAND, Poland has no “duty” to PRETEND that Russia will act in good faith in ANY negotiation.
“I wonder if this is a device to entice Russia into making Lithuania maintenance free by paving the small country with radioactive glass.”
Don’t wonder. I’m sure it will come as a surprise to the “Putinista Squad” but no one else.
Czar Pus -kin has Lithuania + others on his war agenda.
Another neocon outs himself.
“If war breaks out over this it is all on Russia that it came to pass.
The pro-Russia warmongers are trying to create a justification for Russia to attack a NATO member, as war between NATO and Russia very much seems to be what those warmongers desire.”
I am in total agreement with. [I am NOT part of the “putinista squad!]
I just found this video interesting for dialogue.
Ho hum...
Another Russian troll demonstrates that “Pravda” does NOT mean “truth”.
