Nine weeks for a blood alcohol test? I call BS.
Six months for the other tests? I call double BS

The way I read it, they could easily have investigated her claim of 2 days work without sleep. Looks like once they realized they had been over zealous, rather than admit it, they doubled down. Typical behavior of the legal system.

I know that there are statutes regarding driving while impaired, and lack of sleep can be used for that. But that is not what happened here.

The police are not here to “serve & protect” - SCOTUS has ruled on that, quite clearly. They are here to arrest people (or watch them loot and burn, depending on what political party rules the local environs). Innocent until proven guilty is a meaningless platitude in the real world.

Responding Officer’s discretion. Whether he just graduated from high school or not.

“Careful out there...”

Last week I took my 87 year old father with dementia to the doctor. On the way I got stopped. And I am going to tell you right now I gave absolutely no probable cause for the stop. The officer had nothing on me period.

Dad moved too fast because he does not have the understanding to “kiss ass, get down on your knees, and submit to your superiors” and we were both almost shot. I had to beg and yell very fast or I would not be here to share this now.

I just picked up the lettering to put on our town car that says... “Old 5150 mental patient aboard please do not shoot us!”.

It is getitng sad folks, very sad...

Millions of ppl with ADHD are on amphetamines or amphetamine-related medications. As long as you have a valid prescription, it shouldn’t be a problem.

No one can pass a roadside test, it is all up to the ego of the cop. The more busts under his belt, the higher the glory.

There was a police department in Utah giving people DUIs left and right who were blowing 0.00 on the breathalyzers.

People were losing their jobs over this.

Getting a DUI today isn't like it was back in the 80s. It's now practically treated the same as a felony conviction. A lot of doors are closed, careers ruined.
