Keeping up with Prickster who doubled IL gas tax when he took office to make it the same as neighboring states. Do the math on that.

We have people in my neighborhood go to BJs 18 miles away to save 12 cents a gallon. Not sure they are saving anything. People do weird things.

...But it is the greedy oil companies that make high gas prices.

My purchase of an electric Ego Zero Turn is looking better all the time. Not a fan of electric cars just yet, but my electric yard equipment is looking like a smart investment.

Our tax here in Nevada, Washoe County to be exact, goes up on July 1 as well.

The government makes more money off of each gallon of gas than any oil company.

I’m leaving on a car trip in a couple of days. Maybe I’ll wait till we cross the border to fill up. I think I have enough gas to get there.

I had an Ego 21 inch regular mower and no complaints.

For various reasons, I wound farming the yard upkeep to a company who make things look way better than I did.

I sold the mower recently.

Looking to get an Ego blower soon. My DeWalt died a while back.

Fuel costs are expected to continue to rise in July, driven largely because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

What ridiculous nonsense. The Russian invasion of Ukraine retroactively caused the spike in gas prices to start?

Back from town (Henderson, KY) and Every station I passed the gas was $4.49 a gallon.

Well, $4.49 and 9/10th. So, I got 3 gallons. My 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe gets an average of 31mpg. I’m happy!

“Fuel costs are expected to continue to rise in July, driven largely because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine”........Don’t think it had anything to do with Biden screwing up the economy for the sake of inflation???

How odd are the times when we are happy with $4.49 for a gallon of gas?
