The GOP always has been a party of economic interests. Now the party insiders openly detest the party base. Remember 1994, the GOP really didn’t want to control the House. That windbag Gingrich was notable for caving in any time the rats and the media attacked. The Waco investigation was deliberately sabotaged. Gingrich made a lot of noise about a set of silly ass bills such as ‘The Citizen Legislator Act, whatever the hell that was, while carefully avoiding anything that would upset the dems such as a major budget slash to EPA or the Dept of Education. The current GOP has to be destroyed and replaced with the MAGA Party to do anything to really keep us from being turned into a third world hell hole in a few decades.
I remember water cooler talk mid-afternoon on election day 2016 when the dems in the office were confidently talking about what Hillary should be focused on in her second term agenda.
Get all the way through election day this year first. Every day is going to be a war and it is certain that the losing party has more to lose than just elective offices.
We’ll see if Republicans can staunch the bleeding and push back by winning both houses. It would be a refreshing change if they do.

One flip (last week's special election in south Texas) isn't really a lot.
The other 8 U.S. House special elections which have taken place since Biden took office resulted in no flips. There's good reason for Republican optimism at the U.S. House level in November (as opposed to the Senate level), though not quite at Bannon's level of hopium-influenced giddiness.

Even the San Francisco GOP has people watching polls and even drop boxes in a limited fashion. Volunteers much needed.
Your local GOP may well have an election integrity arm as we do. If not, volunteer and start one. All hands on deck. The national and state parties have all the info you should need.

Our area is so red, the streets are red. Even black folks around here vote Republican. (not all, but a good bit) That said, I know that there can be cheating on both sides. I saw it when I was a youngun in college. The Young Republicans had an election, and a whole lot of people showed up to vote when they weren’t expected. So the leaders of the YR took the ballot box to another room where they stuffed ballots and signed the sign in sheet for others who weren’t present. lol. Yup. The guy who “won” that election served as president of the organization for a year, graduated, and went to work for a RAT politician the very next year.
Everyone except the Democrats is assuming that the Dominion voting machines will use a clean algorithm and count the votes exactly as cast and that there will be no problem with mail in
balloting. The Democrats would not be continuing to aggressively shove the economy and the culture into the dumpster if they thought they did not have control of the vote tabulation. Or maybe they expect takeovers in states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin when Biden and Fauci declare another emergency this fall.

Never underestimate the ability of the Democrats to cheat. If they win a veto proof House and Senate then they will probably rule for the next 100 years.

159 million registered voters in 2020, with about 66% voting, or 105 million.
Nobody disputes the 74 million votes for Trump, but the simple reality is, there were not 81 million votes available for Biden to ‘get’.
There will be an army of poll watchers, volunteers and poll managers in the coming elections. Trust me when I say, this was the difference in VA in last year’s election. Instead of 30% turnout for Republican poll watchers/workers, it was 110%.

It also helps when the media and the courts turn a blind eye to the cheating.
