No other nation not participating in the sanctions need follow them. The sanctions are that the EU refuses to conduct business with Russia, that we refuse to buy from them, that we have cut them off from our financial system.
We have not insanely decided that trade with Russia is illegal for the world. For example Brazil is still buying Russian fertilizer. India is buying Russian oil. etc etc.
Russian cargo is not “contraband”. As for the Bosphorus, you might note that Turkey is facilitating the maritime trade in wheat, fertilizer, etc.
They can just eat all that excess baby formula from the US.

Africa is missing a trick. Demand proof of provenance for any docking grain. If russia can’t prove the grain is from Russian farms and the paperwork is crooked, it’s stolen.
Confiscate, fine the shipping company, and distribute the grain.
Russia doesn’t gain. Ukraine doesn’t gain. Detente.
Africa gets a five finger discount.
So Russia is falsely accused of stealing grain, meanwhile the majority of Syria’s oil in the Northern regions is being stolen by the US and these people cannot see their hypocrisy

Is our own baby formula food crisis over already? Nope. But the coverage is. Seem like God is judging America to me.
Once the coverage is over, the crisis is solved. Having a summit at the White House with breakout sessions is another Democrat “fix”.
