Does beg a few questions:

1. Ukraine doesn’t have a fleet, and the waters are patrolled by Russia. How is it supposed to clear the mines without external help? And if Russia is already able to do this AND already has control over the major ports, can’t it prioritise its clearance for grain shipping instead of for military shipping?
2. How is Ukraine supposed to start raising sunken ships? Russia surely has more capability there. Oh, wait. no. Remember Kursk. Maybe this is a job for the international community, not for Ukraine.

But you’re preventing them from doing that. The grain needs to be processed before it can be put on rail containers. Russian forces have repeatedly (and legitimately) targeted the rail infrastructure including repair depots; of course that’s a normal tactic in wartime. But in the last week alone, Russian missiles have hit a grain processing facility at a port, and destroyed a factory that makes grain containers for rail shipping. Isn’t Russia’s own military action preventing Ukraine from redirecting its grain EITHER through Belarus or through the ports?
How can Putin give interviews when he’s on his deathbed?
You have to hunt and hunt to find his full comments.
A press article on this will only cite a single line to make a distorted point.
For example, I saw several articles that only quoted the Belarus statement, making it seem as if Putin would only allow the grain to leave through Belarus.
As you see from the full interview that is a gross distortion of his comments. But the press today does this constantly.
Yes, that is exactly why I posted this. I was watching the Duran video today and they read off part of his comments. I found the info very useful so I googled to find the rest and put it here.
Americans don’t know Putin. They have been brainwashed by our media and our democrats (but, I repeat myself..:-) It would be helpful to remember that Trump likes Putin very much, and has always said we could work with him.
Of course, the democrats made that impossible with their lies and scams.
Putin twice offered to join NATO; but was shot down. During the pandemic Putin called Trump and offered medical supplies that we needed. Trump accepted the offer and Putin immediately delivered.

NATO and the US could reverse course and solve this problem
The French medic who went to Ukraine to help the Ukrainians was shocked at all the war crimes he personally saw the Ukrainians commit. He is personally putting himself in danger by reporting this. He even covers the shelling at Bucca and indicates it came from the Ukrainians.
He personally watched and filmed the Ukrainians taking Russian POWs from vans carrying 3 or 4 at a time...asking them if they were officers. If they said no they were shot in the knee. If they said yes they were shot in the head.
He told the French government about it and the French media. They wouldn’t touch it because it went against the narrative the West is pushing.

Everyone posting here is a “political junkie”. Thus everyone knows (or should know) that America is giving Ukraine weapons and ammo that have been already bought not money!
It’s counted as money for accounting purposes.
Yet you can’t just replace it! Why don’t we feed the widows and orphans while Ukraine. Well, Ukraine got artillery and ammo so one could say we can’t shoot these widows and orphans because we gave it all away, but that wouldn’t be true.
America gave Ukraine 94 artillery pieces and still has ~5,000 left. Whatever your pet cause, if it can be solved by an artillery salvo, then giving these 94 to Ukraine isn’t stopping it!
1. Russia would have to stop shooting at anything Ukraine tries to move near the ports.
2. Why should Ukraine spend a cent of anything on raising sunken ships? America never did. Nor has Russia. Both countries still have rusting hulls all over the place. Besides, it’s a troll demand. Funny how Russian ships loafed with looted Ukrainian grain have been sailing around without difficulty, trying to find a country corrupt enough to buy it WITHOUT waiting for refloated shipwrecks.
The five alternative ways are also troll offerings.
Ukraine has its tractors hitting mines which Russian forces have been deploying by the thousands into the crop fields. Any chance of Russia helping with that cleanup? They caused that problem. Can’t move grain if they can’t even harvest it.
When they do harvest it, they have to store it. Russia’s still blowing that infrastructure up.
Then it needs to be moved. What with? Russia nicked a shedload of vehicles, bombed the rail tracks, blew up the factory that makes grain shipping containers, blew up the processing plants.
Rusfia could reverse its course, stop blowing up the agricultural infrastructure, and solve these problems. One diktat, one decision, time to deliver 1 hour. Far quicker than expecting NATO or the USA to do it.
Or are you reckoning America needs to send big agricultural machinery to Ukraine without Russia lifting a finger? By the time it gets there, the grain will be spoiled.
I thought you guys were against America spending more of its money on unnecessarily solving problems that aren’t of its making and don’t benefit the USA. This mess is made in Russia, so get Russia to fix it.
