Kris Fair, the director of the LGBTQ nonprofit The Frederick Center, said he still doesn’t understand Fletcher’s assertion that the visibility or availability of LGBTQ-related titles in the library somehow endangers children.
“I truly struggle with that statement,” Fair said. “I’ll remain perplexed on it, I think for the rest of my life.”
You can’t even figure out if you are a girl or a boy, or how to have sex. There is a lot you a perplexed about.

The issue with this is that checking out books will show up as statistics. “Oh! We have a LOT of ‘X’ books being checked out, so, we better buy more!”
Better to not check them out, but, to challenge them to a point where the Library Board gets involved. I can’t say for all library boards, but, the one I worked for did NOT want complains about what was in the library.
She may have imperiled her own effort while publicizing it but gotten others across the country to do the same thing.
Maybe telling us to do the same.

(Me) Remember the Regnery (sp?) Study of children? They said they didn’t really have enough “gay” families to draw conclusions, but one big difference stiff out to me: those raised in those families were more open to sexual experimentation with the same sex.
So, yes, exposure *does indeed* make a difference.
And we can see that right now with the trans phenomenon. There is SO much wrong there and these people think everything is hunky-dory? They don’t see a problem?

The downside is that if the library runs out of sexfilth propaganda because of massive check-outs, they will just buy more of the same filth, making even more of it available to kids after the check-out protest wanes.
