If you make an assertion such as that one even in a vanity facts are needed for credibility.
Do we have a source on this? I looked up the records, and saw a Pedro Arrondondo in another city, but he seemed like a low-income plebe. Do we know it was the school police chief?
Yep.
Much. Thank you for the references. This is why I say links to evidence are critical in these type of situations. If not people look stupid just posting unsubstantiated claims.
Is that the guy though? I click on his name and it says the donor is in Laredo. Laredo is a hundred miles away from Uvalde, isn’t it? I am unfamiliar with big country, where everything is that far away. Is a two hour commute a thing in Texas? Do we know if he moved from Laredo?
It wouldn’t surprise me, but I hate to get caught if it is not right.
I thought so too
It's likely the same guy, he recently moved to Uvalde to be police chief.
More hard proof: If you click the ‘more info’ blue triangle on the right of the last two entries, you will see that his employer is USID.
USID = United Independent School District (of Texas)
Two problems…
Who left the door open….teacher or a kid or someone else
And I think the classroom door was fortified to keep people from getting in…
The question I have why not break the windows to get in..
It's well-established that the teacher did.
The question I have why not break the windows to get in..
Excellent question. Almost all police have an entry tool meant to facilitate entry into hard-to-get-into places. I guaran-damned-tee you that, armed with one of those tools, I could get in through a window in less than 5 minutes.
Thanks, Laz. I had just assumed (🙄) everyone had been keeping up with all the threads and had this info. I was wrong about the mayor, but I got my info from another thread, so I guess it was wrong, too.
I was advised by Travis/Matt a long time ago, that when I write, assume people know nothing about the topic I am writing about. Explain it all.
I was taught that one starts a new paragraph only when one begins a separate thought. My paragraph is one thought with various modifiers.
Good advice!
It’s about the revolution. It’s always about the revolution.
The police chief and the mayor are two different people.
Paragraphs are your friend.
One giant paragraph of thought that is a complete blur......
But hey, you were taught well, well before the internet and computer screens were created and such non formatting such as yours is a pain in the ass to read thru it all.....
See how easy it is to add sentence breaks so as to make whatever you are writing so much easier to read?
Probably not.......
So let your hair down, go all out and defy Harriet's knuckle thumping with her ruler and type away in a manner that we all can read with ease.........
Why didn’t you just say that each sentence should be on a separate line? They aren’t paragraphs, so a “paragraph break” is incorrect.
