I can’t get it to “Install” on my MacBook? I down loaded it ok but the installer didn’t seem to come with it or I don’t know where to look for it?
You will need Windows 11.
Cannot upgrade to Windows 11? Then you must buy a new computer and accept all spying from Microsoft : )
What web browser are you using?
Three things to do.
I recently last month had a problem where Firefox was not loading random websites.
It turns out it was because I was using Webroot anti-virus and Malwarebytes at the same time and there must have been a conflict. Since Webroot also is a anti-malware / anti-ransomeware program too I uninstalled Malwarebytes. It may be because of an update by all three programs.
That was the fix for me. I also did the steps below.
+———————————————
DNS Flush Flushing your DNS takes care of any issues with your connections that might be due to old errors it is remembering.
Open an elevated command prompt window. Start button> Run or search on: cmd then right click and run as Administrator.
Type: ipconfig/flushdns
Press the Enter key. Next do the others below one at a time. Restart the pc after you are done.
ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset

Update to latest. I was only a little bit out of date.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.31.31103 from the link.
Get the one if you have 32bit Windows
X86 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe Permalink for latest supported x86 version
Or 64bit Windows
X64 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe Permalink for latest supported x64 version.
I just want to thank everyone for the help you offered, NONE of it worked though, I went in and looked at the hosts.inf file and somehow the exception I had for freerepublic was missing the # symbol in front of the ip address, opened notepad as administrator, edited it back in, and Shazam It Works again!! Still not sure how it got corrupted but I still hate windows and if I didn’t need it to run Quickbooks Pro and UPS, I would NEVER use it again. Anyway Thanks for all the help, hopefully if it happens to others they will be able to fix it
