Instead of peanut butter, try the little Vienna sausages that you buy in the small cans. That is what we use to give our dogs any pills. They love those things.

Oh, I'm sure they would love those but I am also sure my wife would find some ingredient in the sausages that is bad for the dogs..LOL.

We use one of those individually wrapped slices of cheese. Open the wrapper partially, tear off a half inch-wide strip of the cheese, divide into 3-4 pieces, wrap the pill in one piece, roll into a little cheese ball...Bob’s your uncle. Our little guy loves it. We can get 3-4 cheese balls out of that half-inch strip, and use the extra balls to follow-up the pill-loaded ball. If we’re giving the dog daily doses of a med (Apoquel or prednisone, for example), the remaining slice goes in the fridge for use the next day. One slice lasts several days. If you’re only giving one “pill”, the remaining slice of cheese is a good human snack.

Note...the little boy gets his fair share of peanut butter.

Have you tried Sam’s Member’s Mark store brand creamy peanut butter? It’s cheap but very good. A little soupy at times...but good!

Welp, that’s it, that will cause a peanut butter shortage. If you haven’t been storing food up til now, y’all better start soon, before there isn’t much left to buy.

At ours they do, but I live in the Cincinnati area, HQ of P&G, non P&G stuff sells poorly.

I returned my remaining jar and Costco refunded the whole price of the two pack I had bought. They only had some expensive organic stuff to replace it, so I just stopped at a Kroger and bought a jar of the store brand to tide us over.

I have 6 jars to return.

....Is this another government overreaction like the one that caused the baby formula shortage?

This recall seems to cover a quite a long period of production.
