IIRC, there are around 15 or so living grandchildren of Charlie Chaplin.
That’s right. That’s how it happened. He had enough cash to live anyplace he chose to by then. No one else in his family has come anywhere near as famous or influential as he was.
Charlie was a pioneer in a brand new industry.
Chaplin was of gypsy heritage, an ethnicity persecuted alongside Jews in the Holocaust.
