The woman is making the most basic mistake in economics—confusing cost and value.

Value is what people are willing to pay—and everyone gets to make that decision for themselves—regardless of the producer’s cost.

Karens who try to lecture them what value “should be” are an embarrassment to the human race.

That has kind of been my experience too. The title “French Chef/French trained Chef” never impressed me. Most times the food is too salty and the servings are tiny. I think those just exist here in the states so that folks can say “I can afford to eat here” with arrogance. These were however the only place froglegs could be found on the west coast back in the day. I be liking froglegs...

You turn to your bearer holding the brief case with the money and say “Pay the man.”

I think it is pronounced:

La (like sha la la)

Teen

X

with Teen getting the accent.

Thanks. Good to know. I’m sure I’ll be using it often - LOL.

Don’t use it in front of anyone with Hispanic background—they will probably punch you out!

I was thinking of Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall:

I’ve been discussing that movie with coworkers, off and on, for about 2 weeks now.

Damn, what did refried beans do to you? lol

Few things are better than homemade burritos, the ones that weigh 3 pounds, and those, must have refried beans in them.

I don’t eat beans very often as I try to stay carnivore. But, I make refrieds from a can of cooked pinto beans. I pour off some of the liquid, then squish up the beans while heating them in a pan. Save the liquid to add back in, as needed.

La Costena is the brand I like.

What a coinky dink. I’ve seen it a couple of times, thought it was pretty good.

I just dislike their texture, smell, and flavour. Their only redeeming feature is I can have the burrito maker NOT put that....stuff into my food.

You can have my share, FRiend, I surely won’t miss it. Honestly, I will go hungry before eating that....stuff again.
