I’m either too early to get chicken at Walmart or too late and it’s all gone. I don’t have room in my freezer for a roasting hen, so some things just don’t get done.
For some reason, I just got sad. I hate when that happens. Mood swings suck.

There were a few bangs here last night, but I expect the neighbors are saving up for July 4.
Google says Little Rock AFB will have fireworks on the 4th.

Too late for me to stay up and watch! I think the last time I REALLY got into the 4th, pulling out all the stops was in’76. After that, they were all a let-down. We even had Tall Ships from all over the world come to visit that time.
The only other fireworks display of note was globally in 2000 and always, on the Strip on New Year’s Eves.
I just can’t function being up that late, these days.

Good morning. The grilled chicken was tasty. I’ll have some leftovers for lunch.
After supper we played mini-golf. DP did best, which is always good. Those who made a hole-in-one, including Kathleen, got ice cream. I didn’t want any ice cream.
Frank came home from his frontier living friends with a dozen weird-colored eggs and a frozen chicken. We’ll have to look up a good recipe for the organic chicken!

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day. We had hot. Princess got an upset stomach yesterday morning but it did not lead to a seizure, so that was good.
