Subway has been in trouble since 2015 when their spokesman, Jared Fogle, pleaded guilty to having sex with minors. In 2016, the chain closed more stores than it opened for the first time in its history. The brand is forever tainted. The executives turned a blind eye to their spokesman's sexual crimes.

I used to go to Subway once in a while to remind me why I don't go there much. Their cold cuts suck and so does their bread.

My family and I are experts in subs.
The Gold Standard is a chain in the Northeast, as far as I know, called Primo.
But the second best is Jersey Mike’s.
The quality of the lunch meats is what makes the difference.
