Glen Campbell is absolutely a massively underrated guitarist.

He certainly was - in the Alice interview posted above, he spells it out - the respect. As far as actually doing it, he did it. From Shin Dig to the ND Symphony - He never missed a note. Clapton and Hendrix would bow to guys like him and Roy Clark and Jerry Reed. They could never have done what they did.
