Recently, Estavi put the tweet up for resale on the NFT marketplace OpenSea, asking for $48 million. As of Thursday, the highest bid for the NFT was 2.2 ether — approximately $6,800. Someone is living in a fool's paradise.

These morons are finally eating their own “cooking”. “Cooking” is code for two four letter words abbreviated as BS in polite company.

The concept of Non-Fungible Tokens eludes me. Anything digital can be copied.

The only reason anyone would buy something like this is either foolish vanity, or the hope that some greater fool will pay more money for it. I mean, you can’t even display this thing in any sort of meaningful way since it is non-fungible.

I don’t know, and I don’t want to meet that person. I just wish I was the first to think of NFTs. Digital gold has been sitting in my camera’s memory card, I just never thought of selling the hundreds of random pictures I take while out on a hike to rubes who would buy them.

Being a knuckledragger that does not “do” social masturbation messaging, this whole twit thing is baffling.
I suppose this sort of thing is emblematic of how far our country had decomposed.

Except, of course, you wouldn’t be selling your pictures. You would be selling a cryptographic string that refers to an online resource that is represented by a random picture. Until it isn’t.

NFTs are, most often, basically copies of what can be seen in non-NFT form. Take the first tweet, for instance.
Who can possibly see them as “investable?” Cryptocurrency holders!

Hey! We knuckle draggers have standards. Some people don’t. We may be cutting edge some day.

I obviously don’t make enough scratch to even know how you buy a tweet let alone loosing $3mil on one but I think your gif hits the mark.

I have a few breaths that i blew into some ziplock baggies. I’ll sell each one for a $100 bucks each. Have some fresh ones, too.
