ROFL! Next post corrected: 4 speed MANUAL transmission! Couldn’t afford the automatic (and the AMX didn’t come with one anyway)

Satellite radio works exactly like that now. Anyone who is offended by this notification is a fricking liberal.

I buy pods from Costco for about a quarter each.
Since I average about one cup a day, it’s an easy way to go.
My Keurig broke and they sent me a new on on warranty but didn’t want the failed one back.
I took it apart, there’s a LOT of parts in there.

“”Blank buttons aren’t rude,” wrote the owner. “This one is reminding me that I’m cheap.””

He should be thankful that he still has gasoline available.

...and don’t put it past our masters to be able to remotely disable AC, when there’s an ‘energy crisis’ (like our leaders shooting themselves in the foot over Ukraine).

Every detail of life will be monitored.

The younger generation doesn't mind this. They're perfectly comfortable with every facet of their lives being public.

Hell, this is the generation that takes a dump and posts a photo of it on Instagram.

"You will own nothing and you will be happy."

I wonder at the small print on my new car purchase wherein I go in for what should be a covered warranty repair and they look up the computer record and say I drove too fast, started or breaked too fast, or something to void the warranty repair.

Or, even more likely, tie use of my car to a social value score or the government's desire to lock me down at home.

The three cogger was good enough for jeep products.

Mine's 4 years old, I think it's on borrowed time. It makes a horrible noise now when the water level is low and it's trying to figure out if it has enough to make another cup.

I drink A LOT of coffee daily, packing my own reusable pods is the cheapest route I can go and I can make coffee to my taste.

I actually like my Keurig, though when it breaks (and it will) I still have my trust ol' Mr. Coffee and a pack of filters for that on standby.

Why hasn’t Biden brought back the 55mph national speed limit?

It’s a “law we can live with”

Ya want windshield wipers? Please enter your credit card number!

Riding in a friend's car during a snowstorm, the windshield wipers stopped working - turns out it was a "safety feature" to keep the wiper motor from burning out. Had to drive down the highway with the windows open cleaning off the windshield with our hands.

Would you like the windshield wiper subscription? $39.99/month.

Optional equipment on cars will be built-in and can be accessed via a subscription service.

So if a few million people opt not to subscribe to having these so called options in their cars, all that equipment, parts, labor, energy and resources to install all this in these vehicles, is all wasted?

I find this hard to believe.

“If you have visible license plates, you’re being “noted” probably dozens of times per day, more if in an urban area.”

Plus entered into easily searchable databases, for eternity, in some cases.

Bottom Line: Game over, and they won.

People buy those? I have a Keurig. I pack my own reusable coffee pods. Best coffee ever. Make it as strong as I want and it's pennies per cup. Those one use pods are expensive!!!

https://tinyurl.com/bdd4twfc  Keurig makes many types of coffee flavor pods aka K-cups. You are not re-packing any chai spice coffee or pumpkin latte into your pods. I like Café Bustelo simmered and drinking it black.

Your analogy is false. Evidently you think that software (which may have required a greater R&D investment than the hardware) should be free. Do yourself a favor and don’t learn to code, because I suspect you wouldn’t like working for nothing.

Yamaha has a new electric power steering for their MX bikes!

Coming soon to a shop near you.

Stranded turn signals only blink twice, if ya want the full version turn signals, you’ll have to pay extra for that function.

It’s one of those “consumer electronics” deals where IF you could get the parts, and had a lot of patience to do the repair, it would be a cheap fix. But I imagine 99% go in the trash. If you’ve ever changed the battery in an iPhone, it’s a similar level of miniaturization and complexity.
