Fake drama from professional fakers.
I hope Rock spends the next three years ridiculing Will Smith and his bald-headed wife.
That clip is the first thing I’ve watched from the Oscars in a good 20 years. Not kidding.
I’d file charges.

This was NOT fake. It was a baby acting like a spoiled baby and trying to gain thug cred. That’s all.
On Daily Mail, the English are giggling about Jada Pinkett’s
unusual ball gown. She’s a small (ball-headed) woman, and looks swallowed up by a dark green blob of ruffles.
She’s dressing as a head of lettuce?
Fake would be my first guess also.
Not gonna bother to watch it though
Lettuce or maybe Arugula.
Those jokes are even milder than the one Rock told tonight.
All three are entertainers. A comedian makes a joke about an actress’ appearance fitting a type of role. It’s one entertainer teasing another entertainer about something everyone knows about at an entertainment awards show. Total nothing burger.

I don’t think this was staged. But I do think it was a spur-of-the-moment publicity stunt by Smith. Smith was initially laughing while the Mrs. was not. I’m guessing that she said something to him indicating that she was offended, and he immediately seized it as an opportunity to play Mr. Badass defending the honor of his woman... while simultaneously making himself the main story of the 2022 Oscars.
They mention Jada’s alopecia as the reason for Chris Rock’s joke, but I genuinely thought it was her resting bitch face expression. She always looks angry.
I was suffering proteinuria-indiced hair loss as a teen. As a super pasty white girl, I couldn’t pull off shaved or buzzed. Even if she took it as a jab at the alopecia, she has nothing to be ashamed of. She looks good, especially at her age.
In any case, it’s staged anyway. Chris Rock would be loaing his sh!t on stage if it wasn’t.
If I were Chris Rock, I would file charges. Will Smith is unhinged and then was screaming like a lunatic from the audience. Even the crowd was like, “Wow. He’s flipped.”
Chris Rock doesn’t seem to have much patience for the whiney, perpetually offended crowd. Good for him.
It wasn’t fake. Will was all smiles until he saw the look on his wifes face. In every video, there is always a couple claiming something is fake.
