. So they were right. If you had let them kill the squirrel it wouldn’t have been killed by some critter.
Never make fun of bald guys when you are around bears. It’s in The Bible.
I would...
I remember in the 50’s some man lured a black bear into the trunk of his car with food. He then shut the trunk and drove off with the bear in his trunk.
When the bear finished his treat, he came through the back seat into the body of the car. The driver jumped out of the car and the car kept going.
The bear wasn’t injured. The car and ex-driver didn’t fare so well.

Long ago at Yellowstone, a Ranger told of a jamoke using a peanut butter sandwich to entice a bear to sit in the car with his wife for a photo!
I thought it was a local legend?
Cheaper than a divorce...
Yes, we should never question the authorities... they always know best. Many years ago one of our wienerdogs jumped off of our John Deere loader/backhoe and hurt his back. He was whimpering and having trouble walking around. So we took him to the vet and he tried to bite one of the assistants when they were trying to take an x-ray. When we dropped him off he could walk around when we got him back he was completely paralyzed.
They told us they were going to put him down. When I said we were going to get a second opinion they gave me a ration of crap. The second vet told us we needed to pay for an expensive surgery or he needed to be put down and gave me a ration of crap when I refused and wanted to take him home. I built him a little cart that held his back legs off the ground and he got around pretty well with that. He had no control over his bladder or his bowels so he had to have his diaper changed several times a day. But after a few months he recovered and didn't need the cart any more. He had his "accident" when he was 5 and lived to be 18. He was an amazing little dog who we still miss dearly 20 years later. It was his recovery that inspired us to try and rehabilitate the squirrel.
Lol!
These cretins care more about trafficking wildlife than they do about trafficked children and others in bondage to criminals.
Once again Calif. is a failed state. One reason why people are flocking to my free state of Florida.Property values here are stratospheric.
