Went into the store, bought the cigar, and it came out to $1.57 and I payed the change.

You paid over 33% of the cost of his cigar, which you went and bought for him, and then post, "True story"?

He votes demonRAT and you live a style that supports them.

The dude was banned from the store, why?

You might consider joining DU and sending a coupla bucks to the aclu, you might "feel better" about yourself.

Your post, if it is a 'True Story' turns my stomach.

I am totally dumbfounded by the vehemently pro-Russian (disguised as "There is no reason we should get involved!" or "Both the Ukrainian and the Russian regimes are completely corrupt!" or "We're no better!" or "Look at that poofy-tailed poodle over there!") postings we've been seeing here of late!

A lot of these posters are not pro-Russian; they just wisely point out that Ukraine is the corrupt nation of Jao Bai-din, Hunter Biden, Paul Pelosi, John Kerry Jr., Christopher Heinz (Kerry), and Alex Vindman.

Jao Bai-din publicly bragged about getting a prosecutor general fired for investigating Burisma payouts to his son. Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca was funding the firms involved in the building bio-labs in Ukraine.

One would be very wise to question any narrative coming from a government that has massively and repeatedly lied about what they're calling "vaccines" and the government using taxpayer funds for banned gain of function experiments in foreign countries.

The same Democrat regime that actively aids illegal alien invaders is spending billions of dollars to protect Ukraine's borders but won't spend a dime protecting the the U.S. southern border and actively shut down the efforts put in place by the President they stole an election from.

Regarding “we could do both”….but we aren’t and will not. You know it’s true. Therefore that is just a diversion on your part.

Regarding my “leftist” comment. I am not happy with myself when I let my anger over this get to me. I do apologize for that. Will probably happen again though. I get pretty hot over this issue. LOL.

When I first came to Seattle in 1963 it seemed a magical place - I can’t tell you why it seemed that way - it was just my thought at the time. I lived for a month on Queen Anne Hill in a run down apartment which I fixed up in exchange for rent.

Work was hard to come by and I ran out of money so I drove my VW bug back to the East Coast with my last $10 and a Texaco credit card, with one stop in Salt Lake City to get the bug’s burned value replaced at a Texaco repair shop.

When I returned in 1972, it seemed much the same. You could walk around without problems anywhere. There were no homeless camps that I saw. I lived in an apartment a block south of the zoo.

I noticed it at the start of the “pandemic”

FR has certainly seen far too much infighting, name calling and personal insults replacing what had once been informed debate.

Sad.....

I assume there is a non-intervention reaction because of the known liars and devils pushing the pro-Ukraine agenda. Both regimes ARE corrupt, and our historical ties to Ukraine are similar to our ties to Botswana.

Anyone who wants to help Ukraine - or Russia - can get on a plane and head over there. We just lost two wars, and thousands of Americans, in long meaningless wars that achieved nothing (never mind the thousands of Iraqis and Afghans we killed).

FReepers are also correct that we face far more danger from our own government and oligarchs here; they removed the elected president in a hi-tech coup in 2020, and many Americans die every day due to our porous southern border.

My comment was not directed at you, but at people over the years who make snide comments about my screen name and dismiss my opinion because of where I’m from. It’s the flip side of northerners who regard all southerners as uneducated hicks.

Honestly I get the rare person who comes at me here, but not many.

I got far more abuse on liberal forums where I posted as Dan Quayle

Well it may have been a scam, but he did ask me the question of why the price was so high, and I gave him the truth it was the democrats who tax the crap out of everything.
