Glad to hear you are good and mending every day!
May I ask, your age and other vitals that may feed into COVID?
I had it before the vaxes. It was not a big deal except the bad fatigue for a week or 2. Same largely for most family members and acquaintances. My MIL did die from it, that Jan 6. She had several extenuating circumstances.
Glad to hear. God bless!
It's certainly no fun but you'll get through. Take your Vitamin C and D, Magnesium, Zinc, Quercidin, and gargle with your Betadine. If you lose taste and smell that lasted less than two weeks for me and as a bonus I lost 5 lbs.
I will pray for your speedy recovery, my friend. God bless.
I love cottage cheese but can’t eat it. My stomach rebels. 🙄
It really is such a weird virus. I’m one of the lucky ones who had mild symptoms. Chills for a couple days and fever for 4-5 days controlled well enough with tylenol. Felt like a mild flu. No lasting effects.
Op I’m glad you got through it and are doing well.
Once I got hydrated again I improved tremendously. Everyone, drink your water!
You survived Remdesivir and a hospital that would prescribe it - that’s a lot harder than surviving Wuhan Virus! Praise the Lord!
Thank you.
Gppd for you and welcome back!
I Covid-19 a year ago in October. Got the hydroxychloriquine cocktail of drugs and tested negative in under five days; just like the famous French virolgist said would happen. It worked for over 2500 of his patients; hardly any were hospitalized and all tested negative in five days. The only patient who died, died of something totally unrelated to COVID-19.
It sounds like you have good resistance, but, Omicron is so highly infectious that between that and maybe a few “random” unusually high exposures in a short period, it beat your defenses, where earlier strains did not.
As a side note, our area (in mid-South USA) has low and dropping COVID cases now, but there sure seem to be plenty of “other” respiratory diseases running around, per local TV health reports. My wife has one right now, has had it 5 days. Tested neg. for COVID this evening (rapid test), but does not seem to be flu or strep. Coughs a lot, but multi-symptom cold medicine helps. 02 running 98% (usual reading for her on our oximeter), no feeling of lung congestion. Still, I’m gonna convince her to let me take her to a walk in clinic if not better tomorrow.
Good luck with the continued recovery! You are progressing much better than one of my wife’s friends did (it took her almost a year to be “95%”.) However, hers was the worst “long haul” experience I know of, of anyone not put on a ventilator or with permanent lung damage.
If I may ask, how low did your O2 levels go? I’m assuming you had Omicron, from the timing.
“... glad to hear that you weren’t harmed by the remdisivir...
YET!
If you frequent these pages, how in the world would you allow them to give you Remdesivir?
WHY would you go to a hospital?
Sometimes I wonder what good does it do to post all the information about Covid and remedies and things to definitely NOT do, only to hear from a regular (I guess) that they IGNORED IT ALL!
Make sure to get jabs 1,2,3, and rooster booster from here to eternity for each and every variant they can invent! /s
I give up!
This is the ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.
How, namely, do you explain this abject FAILURE of the tests for so long?
This needs to be explained or at least expanded upon - not mentioned and then dismissed!
Regards,
What is your vaxx status?
What is your age?
Preconditions?
Jeez: Without including that highly relevant info, it's like reporting about a gunshot wound you suffered and not bothering to mention whether it happened while you were 1) cleaning your weapons, 2) demonstrating at the Capitol on January 6, 3) being chased by muggers, or 4) attempting to commit suicide!
Regards,
I had it
It was nothing and I’m extremely high risk
Pacemaker
Two open hearts
Vtach
65-70% lung function from scar tissue
I took HCQ in 800mg day for four days...worked for me ....now I take it daily for rheumatism
And phlegm for 36 hours was about it
Age 63 at the time 05/00
Glad u survived
I second that! This contribution is virtually useless without context!
My MIL did die from it, that Jan 6. She had several extenuating circumstances.
"Extenuating" circumstances weaken or lessen the connection.
rom Latin extenuatus , past participle of extenuare "lessen, make small, reduce, diminish, detract from."
Regards,
In spite of the fact that you were never a smoker, and have always been moderately slim and trim?! Amazing!
Regards,
This is strange. I don’t think I had Covid, but I can’t taste sweets. I have to load it in my coffee because I can’t taste it otherwise. It’s rather baffling. I began to wonder if they are somehow diluting sugar.
Not deliberately, but I am unvaxxed, 61 years of age, no preconditions.
The tests I was using was the kind provided by the federal government. When I showed the test kit to my doctor he scoffed at them, saying teenagers had discovered how to trick the tests to give a positive result by sticking them in a certain flavor soda pop. He didn’t tell me which one. When I pressed folks locally about them, they conveniently dropped the requirement to take the tests!
