People still go to malls?
I will say this seems to be a problem with indoor malls only. Outdoor shopping malls, especially outlet malls, seem to do fine. I guess the youths don’t like being exposed to weather.
My wife especially bemoans this situation. She used to love going to malls to shop, but has largely stopped doing that, except for outlet malls.
“ If it’s Fresno, our Aztec residents could be involved.”
That’s what I figure as they used the term “boy”, which we all know is racist when referring to a young black male.
since big screens and the internet, there is no reason to goto the mall...
You know what is really crappy??? The dang KKK was probably right. A little premature, but probably right. My God, but I hate say that.
In the 1950s downtowns were the place to go to shop. You were safe. Then stores went to area shopping centers and downtowns deteriorated. Shopping centers were supplemented by malls and malls became the place to be. Then the individuals who had destroyed downtowns discovered the malls, and the malls went downhill fast.
I have not been in a mall in about 5-6 years.
Guess the demographic.....
This is CA, so I’d actually be a bit loathe to mention the most famous disruptive demo in the country overall, but still, it doesn’t quite fit the Latino MO. But could be, more likely because, CA.
And the shoe store where the work boot shelf was left untouched also.
Someday a rap opera will be written about this or a similar incident.
The title will be something along the lines of “A Mall and the Night Visitors.”
(”The kings are three, and one of them is black!”)
Really? I missed that part!
“Teens” and Coulter’s Law applies.
LOL - #19 nails it. All of those responses have become pretty tired.
No, the KKK (which shared essentially the same view on race that the Woke do … that the color of your skin says something of ineffable importance about who you are, who you can be and who you should be) were not right.
Now had you said the John Birch Society which was not about race but about anti-communism (and the Woke are peddling a Marxist variation on the old racist narrative) that would have been correct.
The Fresno mayor stated that its citizens should be able to shop in a mall without having to worry about some teenagers stabbing them to death.
You know there is only one federal solution to this rampant problem across the country: Ban all knives (even dining utensils). Maybe a Republican candidate can be just like Michael Douglas in that movie, The American President, in which the U.S. President runs for reelection by promising Americans that he's "going to get the guns." Well, maybe President Trump can win in 2024 by promising Americans he's "going to get the knives." (Problem solved!)
With the Woke peddling a Marxist comprehension of race that still manages to be the same old racism at its core (skin is basically destiny) but is now used to further tearing down civilization in the name of their fetid Revolution I don’t agree it nails it.
Marxism begat Critical Theory (to tear down society) which is Cultural Marxism, which begat Critical Legal Theory (Marxist lawfare), which begat Critical Race Theory (Marxist racism) as well as similar things like Queer Theory.
Lol
Vinny Gambini: It is possible that the two yutes...
Judge Chamberlain Haller: ...Ah, the two what? Uh... uh, what was that word?
Vinny Gambini: Uh... what word?
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Two what?
Vinny Gambini: What?
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Uh... did you say 'yutes'?
Vinny Gambini: Yeah, two yutes.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: What is a yute?
Vinny Gambini: [beat] Oh, excuse me, your honor...Two YOUTHS.
Why walk into their trap?
I stand by my comment that those responses have become very tired. We’re better than that.
I tend to not care who agrees with me or not.
