I don’t know if this is another reason but the Ukraine is also the breadbasket of the former USSR. Kind of like how California and the Midwest are for us.

Bless you, CB, for making cookies for these truckers. I know a number of the Canadian truckers - the one who had to leave Ottawa to come home and bury his dad just got back last night after retrieving his truck yesterday.
They left the trucks in disgusting condition. They all head dead batteries, empty gas tanks, windows broken and open, steering wheels bound and tied to seats, all belongings covered with snow. May they all rot for what they did to our truckers. I hope I live to see them pay.
What I meant to say is that I know how much the truckers appreciated the people who provided food, especially the home-made goodies. They loved it.
I sure wish you can retire. I’ll be asked today if I thought he could go to part-time. He is worried about inflation.
