People don’t like this stuff, they want REAL MEAT!
On the first day of the panic food buying during Covid, in Spring 2020, I was in a Kroger in early afternoon. Bread, milk, eggs, meat, dairy was all picked clean. I walked up on a 6’ wide or so coffin cooler, and it was JAM PACKED with Beyond Meat and similar products. Fully stocked. I cracked up, should have taken a picture.
REAL MEAT!
Complete crap…..
Hmm.
We've been eating plant-based meat for a long time. Beef, lamb, swine, fowl, venison, and oddly these creatures all "make" plant-based meat.
Meanwhile "plants" -- factories -- that "make" -- manufacture -- something "beyond" meat are manufacturing vegetarian, chemical infused fakes.
Beyond My Palate
Phony, tasteless meat isn’t selling well? I’m shocked!
Yep, never going to do it just on principle. They are trying to eliminate eating meat altogether. This is just one fork of that effort.
“I could smell the stink of manipulation from day one.”
Yep, absolutely... Same here. PETA and the VEGANS are behind all this crap. But they use the “Environment” as the vehicle to do it.
Oh, I am surprised...
It stands to reason...for multiple reasons. First, if people like meat, they are not going to eat plants. Second, those who don’t like meat aren’t going to buy plant products manipulated to taste like meat.
Let the rats eat rats!
Beyond Meat lies the toilet!
Palm oil does the trick. You know, the crap that stops your heart!
I left a woke company recently where one of the newly-hired managers was HEAVILY and arrogantly promoting that stuff. It’s like a kool-aid cult of True Believers convinced they csn Save Mother Gaia with electric cars, fake meat, and socialism.
Yuk!
It’s made from people!
I bet a company trying to sell vegetables made from meat wouldn’t do well either.
The company's press release blames it on COVID and supply chain issues.
If only there was a way to naturally turn plant matter in to meat...
I don’t eat pork, so tried Beyond Meat sausage. Ghastly, inedible, and far more fat than real pork. What could be healthy about that? Threw out most of the package. Barf alert required on the package.
Beyond meat lies nothing.
