Yes. I will as best i can. Canceled a trip planned for the falls, Want nothing to do with NY or Canada.
It’s already happening. People are running away as fast as they can.
The banks and government are attempting damage control but I think it’s too late.
If a snowbird has a Canadien credit card do I refuse it?
I checked with TD Ameritrade and they have no connection to TD Bank. They recently merged with Charles Schwab and are using the Charles Schwab banks.
I’m in Japan and virtually the only Canadian products we buy are meat . I shall boycott not only Canadian but also NZ and Aussie .
Well, for one, if you have deposits in TD Bank, move your money out.
It won’t be easy if they are your brokerage company for stocks as they own companies like ScottTrade.
Biden is already boycotting more $$$ in oil from Canada than we could ever do as consumers, by nuking the pipelines.
No more Justin Bieber for me!
This is exactly, where a strong national tea-party like organization needs to be formed with a strong personable leader that can rally masses of folks across the nation to do things like boycott Canadian products in large enough numbers that Canada woild feel the economic pain
The only way to be a true FReeper is to become Amish.
Give up Molsen? Nevah!
IMO Canadians make the best whiskey in the world. And I have done a lot of research into this matter.
People should. There should always be a financial cost to oppressing people.
I was surprised to learn that Circle K stores are owned by the Canadian multinational Alimentation Couche-Tard.
Since there are 7,230 Circle K stores located in 48 out of 50 states, they should be easy to boycott. :)
Been going to Ontario fishing every year since 1980, with the exception of 2020&2021 due to travel restrictions. Not going this year nor will I ever go back until Trudeau and the Liberals are out of power.
I’m all for boycotting Canada but it sure would be nice to see some selectivity with this. After all, every overpass was full of freedom loving Canadians across the country as the truckers rolled through and the support both by people travelling to Ottawa as well as other border crossings was phenomenal. The problems is trying to figure out how to target such an effort. Go after Canadian big banks, the CBC and newspapers like The Star? I suspect the only way to be effective is to pick one target that makes sense and then go after that one.... and I’m not sure that I have a target in mind. Perhaps TD Bank... something like that.
I’m wondering about all the Snowbirds down in Florida right now. I bet they are opening up Credit Union Accounts left and right!!
No more Candian Mints. Or Canada Mints. Not the white ones, not the pink ones.
You do realize that the overwhelming majority of Canadians support Trudeau’s actions?
“Two-thirds of Canadians support use of Emergencies Act and want Freedom Convoy cleared out: poll But at the same time, 54 per cent of Canadians say they are ‘ashamed’ of how politicians have let the Freedom Convoy protests get out of hand”
It’s very doubtful that CSIS is monitoring 62% of the population of Canada.
“While 62 per cent of respondents oppose the Freedom Convoy protest, 44 per cent said they could sympathize with truckers”
