Apparently the 5G is a killer
Songbirds have disappeared in the area where my sister lives. People suspect it is 5-G, which came into the area last year.

They all ate from the same feeder

Sick birds die while roosting, not flying.
This is either a chemical cloud or an electronic burst.

What if it was a bang from a drone with a load of high explosives that got set off in the sky? Maybe a farmer was tired of these birds eating his early seeded crops during the night.

Starlings, of course, are non-native to North America. The fact that they thrive here now attests to their intelligence and aggressiveness. I was never a fan of them until I had to do several bird surveys in areas where their numbers are growing. They’re actually quite funny birds to observe (and they’re accomplished mimics too). I used to always laugh when they “wolf-whistled” at me.
But keep in mind our native birds can be shockingly aggressive too. One of my favorites is the House Wren. It’s infamous for searching out other bird nests and furtively poking holes into any eggs to kill off the young.
Nature is brutal. But always interesting.

All I know is that they group up in the fall and crap all over my truck.

It looks like those birds flew through high voltage power lines, and were so many so close together that they formed a path to ground and were electrocuted.
