I bought a 2015 Mini Cooper S convertible in 2019. Last Fall, the dealership emailed me and offered to buy it back for more than I paid them in the first place.
Ummmm that’s an RX7 and it wasn’t 5K.
I had a Eagle Vision Tsi, ‘94, that I would love to find a “new old stock” of. That thing had some power and was very comfy lux. I was inconsolable when that tree fell on it!
Carvana offered me $3800 for my used BMV. I sold it a week later on Ebay for $7000.
Noted. I may wait until 2024 or 2025. My car is still in good condition. Not that old. I'm not in the mood to wait until 2030 and buy an EV. I think ICE cars will still be around by then. But they'll be expensive. Like buying a corvette. Everything will be EV by 2030. The government is pushing auto manufacturers toward it. So we'll just have to continue to hold on to our old ICE cars. We'll be like Cubans, I guess.

Actually I am thinking earlier 70s and it was a 240Z.
I sold my 2021 Toyota Tacoma to Carvana late last year. Made over 5K on it. Had bought it brandnew in fall of 2020. Ended up buying a new toyota hybrid 2021 RAV4 in December. Checked carvana yesterday...they will give me $9000 over what I owe and I would net out about 3k if I sold it now...that includes factoring in my 5k downpayment and the ONE car payment I’ve made. Probably will hold on to it though unless i can net out another 5k.
I had a 2006 black and chrome Jag S Type. Still miss that car.
Bubbles in markets never end well.
