There aren’t iguanas living a native species in Orlando, none to “fall” out of trees. The alligators that are there definitely slow down their behaviour when cold... since they are... lizards. They slow down very slow when this cold.
Kids used to put anole lizards in the freezer to see what happened way back when, and the poor little lizards just shut down, and would wake back up when warmed up. Not allowed to freeze solid— which would kill them. Cold blooded critters.
