The act of imprisoning a citizen of the US in a camp without a criminal act and due process for an indefinite time is illegal.

In 1971, Congress passed legislation to repeal the Emergency Detention Act of 1950 and to enact new language reading: “No citizen shall be imprisoned or otherwise detained by the United States except pursuant to an Act of Congress.” P.L. 92-128, 85 Stat. 347 (1971). The new language, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 4001(a), is called the “Non-Detention Act.”

The act of having a state do the deed is a bluffing way of getting around this federal act.

According to Webster, the definition of insurrection is:
“an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.”

By imprisoning US citizens without due process and against the 14th amendment, the governor of the state is guilty of insurrection.

And if people flee to Idaho will the Washingto storm troopers come after them? It will end poorly for any fugitive hunters who cross into Idaho.

Likewise it should end poorly for those who enforce this abortion of a law.
