Didn't realize DVD was still alive; 96.

My guess would be Bob Newhart. Can't recall exactly where I saw him last, but I remember he looked awfully frail.

Bob Newhart is also a good guess. Probably won’t be either of them, but someone else of whom we did not think.

That was a great movie. I think the most powerful scene in the whole film is at the end when the two of them are at the train station waiting for Virgil’s train.

When the train pulls into the station and Poitier goes to grab his suit case Steiger say’s ‘’No no, I’ll get that’’.

Think about the imagery of that scene.

In 1967, a White southern police chief carrying the suit case for a Black man boarding a train.
