My household has it right now. Hubby and son. I keep testing negative but I’m having a few symptoms.

They have all the omicron symptoms.
Textbook cases seems like.

Problem is I’ve been laid up with a broken ankle for a month so I’m a little concerned with risk of pneumonia. Otherwise I’d be trying to get it from them for sure.
They are quarantined in another part of the house and I have no one to help me. Lol.

Apparently the things to do are lay on your stomach as it opens up the airways in the back of your lungs, and keep moving.

Agree - and hope this new variant can some how end all the foolishness. (noting, I am cynical enough to have cautious hope). If it does then let’s continue to pray the potential long term negative effects of the vaccines turn out to be nothing (likely won’t)- The immediate effects for many have already been devastating.

I have a scratchy throat, cough and a runny nose right now but no fever. Hubby has a fever, headache and muscle aches. We haven’t tested because it just started for me on Thursday afternoon and hubby’s the night before. Should we just assume it’s omicron and stay home or do we need to get tested anyway?

I have some ivermectin/hydroxychloroquine on hand and I’ve been taking zinc, quercetin, vitamins D, C and K, NAC, turmeric, etc. for the last year so I feel pretty confident we’ll be okay. However, my BIL just passed away yesterday from Covid after 2 weeks on the ventilator so that’s making me a little anxious. 😫
