Well, this won’t fly.
So this all hinges on the difference between "approval" and "authorization", as in Emergency Use Authorization.
For the life of me I can't imagine why the rational world doesn't take these anti-vax arguments more seriously.
For pointing out the faa has discretionary loopholes. That’s your wiff?
The old follow the money thing couldn’t be anymore obvious. I’m in complete shock the msm still ignores this.
Just an airline pilot who has to maintain a first class medical to keep his job.
Being a Deep State operative does sound kind of James Bond-ish though, do I get to wear a tuxedo?
The linked .pdf file is certainly easier to read than what you posted.
Guess that's what happens when you let lawyers start doing work should properly fall to MD's, engineers or pilots, eh?
Okay, enough smarta** comment.
Point of the article was that the bit about "..allow Covid vaccines, the only restriction is that you can't fly for 48 hours after the vaccine or if you have side effects" was the problem or at least the major contributor to a situation where some pilots can/have had life-threatening side effects.
I'm not going to tell you what to do, but if I'd had those jabs, if I was on flying status and read/heard reports like this one I think I'd go find a doctor I really truly trusted and have him run as many tests as it took to make sure I was Good to Go.
Don't get any appeals to Newton's Law, do we?
In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Notice to FAA: Commercial Pilots Are Operating Against Regulations Which Disallow Medical Clearance of Pilots receiving NON-FDA Approved Medical Products (Covid-19 vax), semimojo wrote: |

It all hinges on 'proven safe' (Approved) versus 'don't care who it kills' (Authorized). The FDA/CDC went to a lot of trouble to trick people into believing Pfizer was Approved because that usually means proven safe. But they are designed as bioweapons and the FDA can still label it approved if they want to.
