Ooh, he charged a coyote! How brave. 🙄
It’s right—there are coyotes all over the place.
Had a Coyote jump in/out of our 7ft fence in Arlington — barely a mile from the Pentagon.
They don’t need much habitat — just a bunch of idiot libs around you who allow rabbits, racoons, possums, feral cats, foxes in their midst — and others who put out food for coyotes.
Years ago my wife went on a farm call. 7-8 coyotes had taken down a healthy horse.
The neighbors eventually saw it and by the time they got there the horse was in really bad shape. Wife ended up putting it down
Bald eagles are scavengers, I have seen them hanging out with buzzards; they don’t hunt live animals.
“Bald eagles don’t hunt live animals”
I’m afraid I have to disagree my friend. Seen ‘em bring in fresh fish to the nest minus the head on many occasions...also:
“Bald eagles are opportunistic predators meaning that in addition to hunting for live prey, they will steal from other animals (primarily from other eagles or smaller fish eating birds) or scavenge on carrion.”

Key word is opportunistic. I have seen them scoop up dead fish (boat kills) from the lake while fishing.
They are not alpha predators like hawks, osprey, falcons and owls.
I talked with a group of people who sell hot air balloon rides in that area. They told me that just after sunrise when they launch they can watch coyotes, foxes, raccoons, opossums, and an occasional mountain lion in the fields between towns.
I love hearing song dogs at night. But if I see them during the day I will take a shot at them. They get a bit bold if there is no hunting pressure on them.
This year we have a bumper crop of rabbits, so the ‘yotes will raise all their pups and they will be thick for a couple of years. I will have to watch that they don’t eat our cats. Our 90# bull terrier does a good job of running them off, if he isn’t asleep.
Those little dogs are more stupid than brave.
“W” isn’t common anywhere in the wilds of English. Barely a breeding pair...
If it weren’t for wagon, walkman, and weekend, “w” wouldn’t even exist in French.
You could almost spell her entire name on “Wheel of Fortune” without having to buy a vowel.
👍🏻
Sold in sporting goods, not housewares.
I stopped feeding my sparrows because of that.
All I was doing was putting out a buffet for raptors.
Wow. You could almost spell her entire name on “Wheel of Fortune” without having to buy a vowel.

And his hair was perfect.
We have had a couple of coyotes take a run at our Chihuahua over the years. She stays on a leash and we are always armed on neighborhood walks but you have to be careful. One night a coyote decided to run out of the woods and jump our 13 inch Beagle. Buddy, a former hunting dog looked up, went into full bay and charged him to the end of the leash. Didn’t know a coyote could turn and flee so fast. 😆
There is also stern grove park on 19th ave.
