Hmmm. The bagel shop in my hometown makes their own cream cheese.
Instead of 1lb of cream cheese on my bagel I’m only gonna get 1/2lb now!!??

Aldi has stopped selling pints of heavy cream—you have to buy a quart now. I bought one and froze half, and when it was time to thaw the frozen half, it turned out lumpy.
Everyplace is also out of cinnamon.
I stock up, just in case I decide to make cheesecake; it does, indeed, keep for many months.
The only way to keep homemade or deli bagels is to freeze them. They’ll keep for months that way. Just microwave for 30 seconds when you want to eat one.
I buy heavy cream from Aldi. It’s ultra pasteurized, and keeps in the fridge for months.
