I’m sorry to have posted it before you. But good idea to send the Catturd.
We went from "If you're vaxxed you can lead a normal life"
To "If you're vaxxed you sill can catch it & spread it, you still need a mask & social distancing, and 2 boosters, but at least when you get it, it won't be as bad as the unvaxxed.
Those are great!
Thanks for the good news story.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a frog jumping contest in Solvang. It looks like a little Danish town. And I believe the fields outside of that grow tulips.
For some reason, my kids liked it! At least at the restaurant they did. At home, out of the can, not so much.
Occasionally, when I traveled on business, I stayed at the Madonna. It was perfection at the end of a long, stressful day.
And don’t get me started on Santa Cruz, LOL!
I can relate. That's all I have ever had in regards to pea soup, so I could never bring myself to veer off the course for anything remotely similar.
Perhaps the real deal is better. Or maybe there is an In-N-Out across the street, if not.
Every summer while growing up we stopped at the inn and Anderson’s on our way to Canada. It was a tradition. A major road trip .
When we Christians ban together, stand up, and stop them!
Well, you might consider stopping one of these times. The restaurant was okay - varied menu, the little loaves of bread were “home made”, and the soup did taste better. Also, there was the whole ambiance thing.
Disclaimer: the last time we were there was in 1980, so things may have changed.
I think I’ll survive, CB.😁
We were on our way over to Tracy, CA for my niece’s wedding.
Decided to travel up 101 and see the sights.
Sister insisted we stop for lunch at the Madonna Inn and then go for a tour, she said we wouldn’t be disappointed.
We weren’t!
Actually, ended up having lunch with Weird Al Yankovic who was playing with his band in Pasa Robles and staying at the Inn.
He was so nice to our youngest son who was then about 11 or 12.
I haven’t been to Anderson’s in years but from what I remember, the soup was delicious.
What part of Canada were you headed to?
How special for your son! Sweet story.
Ha!! THAT IS PERFECT!
Now, everyone will want one.
It sure does.
Really spiffies up your Charie Brown tree.
Did you know that Bubba has the same tree?
He got a picture with him and an autograph.
Al couldn’t have been nicer.
