Yet a cardiologist will insist you take it …
Ginger thins the blood. Don’t take too much.

... take two aspirins if you suspect a heart attack as you call 911?
If I suspected a heart attack or a stroke I'd swallow half the bottle (with a Bourbon chaser) if I thought it would help :)

“I remember my grandparents cooking with lard”
Me too, and leftover, refrigerated bacon fat. Both made everything taste good.

I’ll bet they are coming out with these silly articles to force people into seeking medical treatments where the doctors can prescribe meds instead of taking aspirin which has been known to work for years.

My 2 cents…red wine is good for your heart.

Packaged blocks of lard were readily sold in food markets. It still is. I use it quite often.

Without telling the dosage and frequency of taking aspirin this report is totally ambiguous and useless.
To: ConservativeMind
My cardiologist has me on 81mg of aspirin per day.
If I didn’t have a cardiologist, I wouldn’t be on aspirin at all.
So just by having a cardiologist, I am at higher risk of heart failure, because I need a cardiologist.
Correlation does not prove causation.

"Aspirin has been recommended as a prophylactic AGAINST heart disease for decades. Since some use it as part of an anti-Covid regimen, are they now trying to discredit it?" Yup. I've taken 81mg (a baby aspirin) of aspirin a day for over 20 tears. I'm 78 and doing alright. I will continue taking my aspirin, daily.

Eating apples has been linked to death.
Yeah, when you choke to death on one like my brother-in-law's father did!
To: ConservativeMind
My father took 12 aspirin a day for 35 years for various different pain, back, knee, ankle. He never had any problems and his doctors were amazed, especially his cardiologist. He finally had heart bypass surgery at 80 and lived another 13 years.
Noe there is the guy they should have been following and testing.

Apples...wow I just finished eating one.
That plus my 3 shots of Modernavax means I’m toast.
Grandson’s already sizing up my 67 Camaro convert...

A few more studies are needed to get whatever the percentage of heart disease from the vax. Blame everything so when numbers rise the have a reason. See you took aspirin that’s the reason for the heart attack.
Wow.

I’m trying to figure out the context of aspirin use they are basing the studies on. Is it apsirin for chronic everyday pain relief or is it for prophylaxis against heart attacks, strokes and PE’s.?
People who take aspirin against clots as they have had heart attacks will be in a higher risk for heart failure over time anyway with or without the aspirin. The heart muscle has been weakened. So a certain begging of the question is apparent here.
